Otherwise, no real impact on performance. When the manufacturer says six feet, they are not kidding. This item works best when the antenna is held against the phone.
Now I'll have reliable service where I will put my Dock n Talk cellphone adapter. Well worth it since I will be dropping my landline. I only had zero bars to one bar for a cell connection prior to using this. Now I always have one to two bars so i don't have to worry about any data or phone calls getting dropped.
As others have said, this is not a booster just a way to attempt to find a signal outside and bring it into a personal space. Now, I get most of my text messages. Conversations outside work just fine so the device should work fine. This product works about 50% of the time. Good luck with yours. So if I can talk fast I'm good. Calls may last about 45 seconds then gets dumped. Before this device I wouldn't get my text messages unless I went outside.
Disappointing. It is easy to use and setup, however it simply never improved the signal. I returned it. I should have been the perfect customer for this product. I have 2 bars in my apartment, wanting a little better signal.
Its worth a try, I looked at all my options and this seemed to be the most economical. It gives me a couple extra bars so that i'm not dropping calls all the time, however, I only take call in one spot and it works great for that. I was skeptical about purchasing this product due to the bad reviews. It does work.at least for our business.
